First FOSC Annual Meeting Success

First FOSC Annual Meeting Success

The first FOSC Annual Meeting last night was a great success.  We had a chance to meet our new Board of Directors, hear updates from the various sub-committees, and discuss future plans for the group.  The Board of Directors was proud to present Laura Hurd, the Stoughton Branch Manager of Eastern Bank with a Certificate of Appreciation for providing a grant to pay filing fees to become a non profit group.  But that wasn’t all.  Leo Fay from the Stoughton House of Brews and Barbara McDonnell of Barbara McDonnell Insurance were also awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the Beautification Committee for sponsoring their downtown projects.  On top of that, local artist, Derek Diedricksen, updated the group on his projects to improve storefront windows, starting with Rowlands TV.
